Gates was initially so insulted he refused but after a short time showed him not 1 but two forms of ID, clearing everything up. At that point the officer continued to interrogate him, it was then that gates asked him for his name and badge number and it was then that the officer (oh yea if u havent guessed the cop was white) refused. Gates, 58 then picked up his walking caine and followed him onto his porch and insisted where the officers handcuffed him and charged him with disorderly conduct... smh. Allen Counter a fellow Harvard prof. stated "We do not believe that this arrest would have happened if professor Gates was white..." and with that sadly truthful statement, i'll end it off.

yesterday was such a great day! i woke up to my moms shoving the phone in my ear with my sister Dai saying "wanna go 2 six flags?" at first i was like nah i be 2 scared 2 go on rides and i wouldnt want 2 be a wet blanket. but then something kicked in in my head that just said, yo stop being a bitch and go 4 it! lol so i told her i'd go. i go we have a great time go on a few rides (some of them lines tho?! fuck that!) i ate a weird ass 7$ cheesesteak wrapped in tortilla, waited on line 4 like 45 minutes 2 ride skull mountain which broke right when we were gonna get on.(urgh!) and finally i go on my first roller coaster, (of course me being a capricorn after much procrastination) fucking..NITRO!! now idk how many of yall have been on nitro but it's like the highest fucking coaster in six flags (NJ) aside from the Kingda Ka (which wasnt running and looks completely fucking insane, but nitro is next on the list 4 craziness. its damn near a vertical drop!! i couldnt stop laughing after a certain point it was fucking great!! thx 2 my sister Dai, my man Rich, lil cuzzo Alex, sister from another mister Shonta and Fabo, 4 the experience i'll always remember it!!

escapism aint all good

i've been trying 2 escape reality so much lately that i find myself so disconnected from life i dont fully absorb shit for all its worth cuz i'm never really here. i'm either imagining i'm here or there or trying to picture myself in my ideal life, in some imaginary interview with some1, or adding on the minor details to one of the scenarios i've created in my head. and i realized... thats all i do! so much so that i literally dont have time to think about reality anymore and it just makes u numb. and so finally the other day maybe a week or so back, i was just thinking to myself about different random things and idk what caused it but it was like a light switch all of a sudden i was plugged back in2 life, and it was like "whoa.." it was a physical change that i could feel 2 my core, and i didnt even remember the feeling till it came back after god knows how long. suddenly everything felt more significant, and...i guess "real" would be the word.

anyway no real clear cut conclusion here just that i gotta stop tryin 2 escape all the time, cuz if u spend all ur time escaping u dont have ur feet firmly planted in any foundation ur just running. after a while ur just escaping from an all ready in progress escape, which just leaves u, kind of in limbo. which sux. and who wants to perpetuate something that sux rite?? lol

Sam Bicke: A recently separated furniture salesmen who's deteriorating, his hopes are high but very delicate, and he's desperately trying 2 find his groove in a world that he doesnt fit into and that quite frankly would rather not have him. Sam is played beautifully by Sean Penn with a supporting role from Don Cheadle. this is an all around great movie (oh & it's loosely based on a true story) but make sure ur not with the crew or getting ready to go out afterwords this is a bit of a dark movie and if ur like me it could bring descent to ur high spirits.
